Background
St Modwen was unanimously selected as the preferred developer of the Hothamton and Regis Centre by Arun District Council in July 2006 following a developer competition that included extensive public consultation. Following the economic downturn of the past couple of years, Arun agreed with St. Modwen to extend the agreement into 2012.
The Sites
The Regis Centre site is located between Clarence Road, Belmont Street and the seafront. The Hothamton site is located west of London Road and bounded by Queensway, West Street and Steyne Street.
Consultation
St Modwen is committed to extensive, community-wide public consultation to help inform its proposals for the two sites. This website will be used throughout the life of the project to keep the community fully updated and informed about the proposals, consultation events and ultimately progress on planning and construction.
